Now this is kinda interesting. Apple CEO Steve Jobs attends a council meeting.

Jobs at a local council meeting..? Ah yes, when he attends to complain about the little old lady next door whose dog poops on his front lawn.

He starts off with a very slick preso — elegantly minimalistic — with snappy charts to show the amount of pooch poop per month has been hitting his lawn, and how it's been increasing over the past year.

It culminates in a slide to show that in the last quarter leading up to Christmas there was more pooch poop than the _whole_ previous year combined (for every single one of these pronouncements, the councillers and other meeting attendees all whoop, cheer and punch the air).

Then there's a walk-on from some celebrity who shares that neighbourly dog droppings are an issue for him, too.

Finally, just as Jobs appears to have finished making his case against his neighbour and her dog, he adds "Oh, there's just one more thing…"…

Err, so did you watch it David? ;-)

I love the bit at the end where all the council members are fawning all over Steve Jobs (who is obviously there to hopefully plant the idea in their minds that Apple's dedication to Cupertino as the biggest tax payer is worth a lot of planning approvals).

And then one of the female council members comes out with this entirely unexpected and awkward line: "it's like you got a child, and you gotta educate that child". (Yes, she is referring to the plot of land Apple has bought to build its campus on… obvious, so obvious…)

Didn't get to watch it before I wrote that, as for some reason it refused to play in my browser, but then gota little busy with a deadline today to reboot, revisit and try it again (will do so later this evening).

Notice how when he walks away from the lectern, he takes his 'keynote' bottle of water with him.

Take a look at all the keynotes, he always has one of those pop top bottles of water, and more often than not, he always takes a few 'timed' swigs :)
