I saw a lovely phrase on some packaging: "love is giving". I have to say, that sums it up very well indeed. Even though the phrase could be horribly misappropriated by department stores for commercial purposes, I think it's true. Love is many things, but "giving" wraps them all up pretty well, I reckon.
