Jon Hicks (the brilliant designer behind the Firefox icon, among other things) has blogged today on some new Firefox themes created by a colleague of his that make the 'fox look significantly more Mac-like.
I know what you're thinking… Mac themes for Firefox are often designed by Winux users who have Aqua-envy but can't quite recreate the interface perfectly in a theme to a high-grade Jonathan Ives' pixel-perfect polish perfection platform. (OK, maybe you weren't thinking exactly that…)
But these themes really do look great. And they won't work on the Winux versions of Firefox either, so you can be sure they are made on Mac for Mac users.
Here's a sneak peek… the theme install files are all here. (Sadly they don't seem to install into the new Firefox 1.5.0.1.)

The theme says "Only for Mac OS X" but, i use Ubuntu 7.10 with 2.0.0.6 ForeFox and the theme works great….
You have to allow the site install stuff into the computer before you can install the theme.
